dESPair chief airport officer

The chief airport officer CAO is your contact person for information about any of our special airports, navaids, hangars and airport buildings.

The CAO is the keeper of our master apt/nav/fix.dat files.

Whenever you want to add an airport or a navaid (VOR,NDB, ILS,Fix), you are advised to check the inclusion in our master file with the CAO. The official airport data is always sent to Robin Peel for inclusion in the official X-Plane master airport/navaid files, but all our special airports, airfields and camps/bases all over the world are not to be included in the public file.

The CAO is therefore the person you want to contact for any airport related questions and inquiries as he is the one who keeps the overview and manages our internal master airport files.
